Cons - Low HP, Low Def.
Pros - Fast damage, ranged skills.

So, the question you must first ask yourself as a FA - Will do I mostly dungeons (PVE) or TG/people killing (PK)?
Do not fear, I will post both types of PVE and PVP skills that are very usefull and will lead to many victories.
These PVP skills are the most usefull you can ever pick in a PVP match, trust me i've tried and tested alot.

PVP skills:

Critical shot - Lv. 20
Shadow shot - Lv. 20
Terra lance - Lv. 20
Sonic Shooter - Lv. 12
Shooting Star - Lv. 18 (Finisher)

PVE skills:

The most common build is Osmium. Here is what I suggest to you as stats:

Osmium set+6
STR: 111
INT: Rest goes here
DEX: 223

This is if you want to wear a osmium set+7
STR: 113
INT: Rest goes here
DEX: 227

4)
I would suggest a Osmium set+6 if you want to focus on PVP and but it also works inside dungeons.
If you're more of a PVE person and like to do dungeons alot, I would suggest a mithril set+6.
a good goal would be this type of armor:

Osmium Battle suit+6 +50 Hp and 7% Magic amp
Osmium Battle helmet+6 36% Critical DMG
Osmium Battle boots+6 7% Magic amp
Osmium Battle gloves+6 7% Magic amp

PS: if you can't afford Osmium Battle glove or boot. Get Terra gloves or boots 4% Magic amp.

At first, get 2x Topaz orb+6 10% Critical DMG (1 slot)
I would suggest you to get 2x Lapis Orb of Deathblow+6 20% crit DMG + 3% critical rate (2 slot)
When you get a more stable economy you should aim for 2x Lapis Orb of Deathblow+6 27% Critical DMG (2 slot)
If you ever get millions of money, buy 2x Mithril Orb+6 7% Magic amp (1 slot)
