Hey guys ive been in a couple clans/guilds in diff games over the years and i Realy liked to be in vent with them it was such fun so i wanted to ask u guys if u guys are up for that.

Vote For or agains below plz so i know if there would be enough people interested

Pure and Me are able to get a vent server so thats covered already

Ps, If an admin could change this post to a poll that would be great .

I vote for teamspeak3. Hate ventrilo coz always need to push button to talk and in Cabal is a bit stupid.

So, +1 for teamspeak2 or 3, doesnt matter

I say teamspeak to, already setted up a server once and was easy, ventrillo is harder and the push to talk sux.

ehm u dont have to use the push to talk function in vent ;o and if u have those mouse buttons on the side of ur mouse, thats a very nice button to set for push to talk in cabal. i respect everyones choice though

vents alot more clear, but i prefer TS :/ i always use my mouse scroll button as push to talk button ^^

OKey, i prefer TS,,, but push to talk is better anyway... why? Cuz sometimes when u start talking, u can get lagged and it just starts sending in middle of sentence, so like u speak "Jinzorn is such a noob", it may not react fast and u can only hear "such a noob" so i guess push to talk is only option, but i guess thats my opinion. Never used Vent, but think TS is lighter for pc (uses less ram) but thats just me

vent is also very light for ur comp to run, the big diff between ts and Vent is that Ts is used for Raids and stuff where u can have no lag at all in the speech of people which is realized by using the same principle as is used for telephones which sounds crappy, Vent has an average lag for me of 100 Ms which is kinda killing if u would use this for battles but thats not of any use in Cabal since this game hasnt got crucial moments like that. thats why i prefer vent it simply sounds a lot better

ehh, feel free to call me nub, but what the heck is vent and the stuff ur talkin bout? Does this mean there will be no more chat ingame, and just talking with mics?

vent is short for ventrilo,
ventrilo is indeed a program in which u voice communicate, it means that whoever likes to come on vent and talk with eachother is free to do that the advantages are that u can talk while comboing and stuff and it is alot more fun then regular type chat.

why dont we just use skype?

when u call with more then 2 persons it starts running very heavy, and vent is simply easier to use with groups

Yep, skype is made for like 2 person talk ( with camera even ) it gets lame after 3-4 ppl conversation. Vent or ts are much lighter and kinda created for team talks
